Description: This session will focus on mathematics and application fundamentals of the water and wastewater treatment industry. This class will focus on using math to, understand water treatment processes. Upon completion of this course, personnel should be able to perform calculations needed to verify various plant processes. Examples include chemical dosing, detention time, pressure backwash flow rates and horsepower pump rates.

Hours are 7.0 (x 1.5 w/ passing of test).
